Involvement Opportunities
Saint John’s relies on help from alumni and friends to help us keep our community connected and to be a resource for our students and faculty. If you’re ready to pitch in, your strengths are needed somewhere!
Get involved
Alums like you can help Saint John’s by planning events like happy hours, picnics, community service events, golf outings, Johnnie game watches and more.
Class and Reunion Volunteer Portal
“Class volunteers can use the portal to access reunion and outreach resources, view participation information, connect with fellow volunteers, and stay up to date on engagement efforts for their class and the Saint John’s community.”
Alumni Chapters
Alumni Chapters are geographic areas where Johnnies and friends of SJU stay connected with each other and with Saint John’s, and serve as a resource and point of contact for alumni, students, faculty, parents, and prospective students
Alumni Clubs
Alumni Clubs (also known as Affinity Groups) keep alumni connected with Saint John’s through shared interests and experiences
Alumni Association Board
The SJU Alumni Association Board of Directors works closely with the University to advise us and lead us in engaging our alumni. Board members help foster lifelong relationships with alumni and friends of Saint John’s. They also demonstrate ways alumni can become involved and active in supporting their alma mater.
Alum Referral Scholarship
Share the names of high school students who would make great future Johnnies and Bennies.

Young Alum Committee
The CSB+SJU Young Alum Committee (YAC) is a group that provides programming and resources to Bennies and Johnnies who have been out of college for 10 years or less. The planning committee organizes several events and activities throughout the year, primarily in the Twin Cities area.
