Math Skills Center students discussing math

Math Center Mission:

The mission of the Math Center is to support the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University students by providing resources and advocacy to foster academic success.  The Math Center upholds this mission by providing an intellectually challenging learning environment which supports students in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary for achieving their educational goals.  The tutoring activities of the Math Center reflect its commitment to helping students with diverse backgrounds and goals, and meet each student at the level of their ability.  The Math Center assists students in:  developing the academic skills needed to take full advantage of educational opportunities across both campuses; cultivating the mindset and habits that promote commitment and perseverance; and encouraging every student to foster the commitment and motivation to learn.  Students are encouraged to actively participate in their math education by using the resources available in the Math Center.
