Curriculum
During your four years at CSB and SJU, you will work closely with the pre-chiropractic advisor to create an individualized academic plan. The requirement for admission into most chiropractic programs is generally 24 semester credits in the life and physical sciences. Our students typically fulfill this requirement with the courses listed below and supplement that with volunteer experiences that make them attractive candidates for admission into the graduate programs.
Common chiropractic preparatory courses:
- Biology 101, 201
- Chemistry 125
- Chemistry 201 (taken for 1 credit)
- Physics 105
- Biology 325, 326
Sample academic 4-year plans:
- Pre-professional Pre-chiropractic Program
- Pre-professional Pre-chiropractic Program with Study Abroad
Health-related courses
The courses listed here are not prerequisites for any of our pre-professional programs – but they all can serve to expand your understanding of health and health care.
