Each spring, our campus community hosts a full day of research and creative work presentations to acknowledge and celebrate the scholarly and creative work completed over the academic year.

MPCC Scholars Showcase with MN Legislators

Students from the 16 of MN private colleges present what their research findings and scholarly development to policymakers and the large MN community! From philosophy to nursing and chemistry to operations management, the breadth of the subject matter presented here represents the wide range of student learning that occurs every day at Minnesota Private Colleges. Undergraduate Research coordinates the opportunity for CSB and SJU students to participate!

National Conference on Undergraduate Research

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. Unlike meetings of academic professional organizations, this gathering of student scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning and from all disciplines. Overall, this conference offers a unique environment for the celebration and promotion of undergraduate student achievement; provides models of exemplary research, scholarship, and creative activity; and offers student career readiness development.

Summer Research Community Career Development

OURS facilitates opportunities for summer researchers to connect and build community. Through résumé workshops, guidance on sharing research experiences in job interviews, and participation in our Summer Research Showcase, students gain multiple avenues to engage with and feel part of the CSB and SJU scholarly community.
