What is an e-book?

E-books are textbooks that are available in digital format. E-books can be downloaded to your computer or accessed through a website with an online code.  Both options are not always available for every book; this is dependent on the publisher.  If you have questions on how to access your eBook, please contact us.  The e-book version usually costs less than the print version.  E-books cannot be sold back at the end of the semester.  Most e-books are accessible for typically 180 days after purchase.  With some e-books, you have the ability to search the entire text for a word or phrase, add comments, create your own bookmarks, and print on demand all from your personal computer or laptop.   If an e-book is available, you have the choice to purchase the e-book or print version- you do not need both versions.  If you order an e-book through our bookstore website, you will get an email (search PRISMRBS) as soon as you order is placed with how to access your e-book.  If you purchased the e-book in our store, the access information is listed on the bottom of your receipt.

E-BOOK return policy is as follows: e-books are refundable the first week of classes or for 1 week after the class is dropped.   Publisher access code cards cannot be opened and revealed.

Additionally, we cannot fulfill refund requests if more than 10% of the product has been viewed and/or if any page(s) of the product has been printed.
