Education: BA in Biology from St. Olaf College, MS and PhD in Zoology and Physiology from the University of Wyoming. 

Courses taught: Human Anatomy and Physiology, Animal Physiology

Research interests: Hibernation physiology (labile protein use, bone remodeling, renal system control) and potential applications for extreme human events like space travel.
