About the Archives

The Saint John's University Archives collects the historical records that document the history of SJU (with some overlap with the Abbey, Prep School, and other entities on campus).

NOTE:  Until further notice, THE ARCHIVES ARE CLOSED to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  However, the Archivist will be monitoring and responding to email: [email protected].
The University Archives is located on the basement level of Alcuin Library (12 on the  SJU Campus Map). After entering the library, take the main elevator to the basement; the Archives will be to your left.  Note:  See also the Saint John's Abbey Archives.
