Curriculum

Most pre-athletic training students major in biology, integrative science, psychology or nutrition.

During your four years at CSB and SJU, you will work closely with the pre-athletic training advisor to create an individualized academic plan. This plan will include courses that are generally listed as prerequisite coursework by the various accredited graduate programs in athletic training, and volunteer experiences that will help to make you an attractive candidate for admission into the graduate programs.

  • Chemistry 201 (taken for 1 credit)

  • Nutrition 125
  • Math 124 or Psychology 221
  • Exercise & Health Science 306, 308

  • Colg 121 (Medical Terminology) (taken for 1 credit)
