23 trailers were added to the CSB campus 1973

In the summer of 1971, 23 trailers were added to the CSB campus. These mobile homes, known to students simply as “the Trailers,” were meant to provide housing for CSB students when the completion of new West Apartments on the campus was delayed that year until Christmas.  Even after the West Apartments were finished, the trailers stayed, as CSB’s enrollment was quickly rising, and were in use until the summer of 1975, when the East Apartments were completed.
