The Center for Entrepreneurship hosts, and co-hosts many events on and off campus each semester. From new and interesting ENTR 101 Courses, to two amazing interactive student events: David Forster Spark to Start Campus Challenge and the Eric Rego Big Idea Competition, to the McNeely Market. Where students, staff and faculty can showcase and sell their products.

David Forster Spark to Start Campus Challenge
Spark to Start is an annual team-based competition honoring the late David Forster, celebrating his legacy of inspiration through physical, intellectual, and creative challenges at CSB and SJU.
McNeely market
Each year the McNeely Center hosts the McNeely Market to showcase the work, products, and services of our CSB+SJU students, staff, and faculty. Stayed tuned for information on a McNeely Market this spring.
Eric Rego big idea competition
The Eric Rego Big Idea Competition, created in memory of 2006 graduate Eric Rego, invites students to pitch their ventures through short videos, with finalists presenting live for a chance to win cash prizes at the March 5, 2025 event.
Entrepreneur Scholars program
The Entrepreneurial Studies Program at the CSB and SJU empowers students from all disciplines to create ventures that promote the common good, blending business skills with liberal arts values in alignment with Benedictine principles.
ENTR 101 Courses
Expand your entrepreneurial mindset and skillset through a variety of dynamic 2–4 credit courses offered each semester by the Center for Entrepreneurship and campus partners—open to all majors and class years with no prerequisites—and explore past and current offerings by visiting the Center in Simons 350, SJU.
