Pages from The Torch, The Record and Sagatagan as well as conversations with alums prompt this interactive session on campus life and the upheaval of major national events during the second half of the ‘60s. The times on campus were certainly changing: from Saturday classes and strict dorm hours to the 4-1-4 calendar, co-ed classes and campus protests. Our discussion will lead to many “remember when” reflections. Chuck Achter graduated from SJU in 1969. He has been a lifelong educator in public education and higher education. He and his wife Brenda have two married adult children and two grandchildren.
