Lauri Miller

Lauri is an assistant professor of accounting. Lauri is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth where she earned a BS in Education, with a minor in Spanish. She also received her Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Rollins College, Crummer School of Business in Winter Park, Florida.

Lauri has years of experience in corporate finance and accounting as Financial Analyst, Accountant and Cost Accountant. She has worked for manufacturing companies including Lockheed Martin, Jostens and Donaldson Company. In addition to corporate, Lauri consulted for small companies with work including start-ups, consolidations and private equity.

While consulting, Lauri was an adjunct faculty at Rasmussen College teaching Accounting, Finance and Business Analysis courses. Loving academia, she later joined Augsburg College, now Augsburg University in 2013 teaching Finance courses, and was very excited to join the faculty at CSB/SJU in 2018! Lauri teaches several courses in the accounting and finance curricula, including Fundamentals of Finance, Principles 1, Principles 2, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2. She is also the primary moderator of internships in the accounting and finance faculty.

Away from campus, Lauri is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, backpacking and skiing with her husband and four boys. During the summer of 2018, she designed and wrote an accounting course for online education. She is on the board at St. Joseph the Worker.
