Teaching and Research Areas of Interest

He has taught courses in research methods, criminology, statistics, courtship and marriage, and gender.  His research interests include inequalities in education, interpersonal violence, and community development.  He is an avid fingerstyle guitar player and reader of science fiction short stories.
