Learning Outcomes

Mission Statement

The mission of the Psychology Department at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University is to provide our students with an active and interactive learning experience focused on the science and practice of psychology. Faculty are dedicated to providing an environment that models a passion for learning and scholarship, using pedagogical methods that are innovative and anchored in research. It is our goal to prepare students who think critically and reflectively, engage others from all backgrounds with empathy and understanding, and use their knowledge of psychology to maximize their own personal development and promote the common good.
