Foundation, Honorary, and Alumni Members

Theta of Minnesota's Committee on Alumni and Honorary Members reviews nominations and prepares materials for a full chapter vote before any new alumni or honorary members are elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Foundation membership was extended to select members of the CSB and SJU community when Theta of Minnesota was first established. Our six Foundation Members were all elected to Theta of Minnesota in 2010.

Honorary Members
We extend honorary membership to individuals (who did not graduate from College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University) in recognition of their scholarly achievements.

  • Mary Dana Hinton: Elected to Theta of Minnesota in 2015.
  • Richard Ice: Elected to Theta of Minnesota in 2013.

Alumni membership is granted to individuals (who graduated from College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, at least ten years ago) in recognition of their scholarly achievements.
