Wilderness First Aid & CPR

Friday & Saturday, August 14 & 15, 2026

A 2-day hands-on training in Wilderness First Aid, including CPR & AED use. The course will take place indoors and outdoors with both lectures and hands-on scenarios.

Training will be provided by staff from Wilderness Medical Associates International.

Details:

• $395 – includes a boxed lunch each day (sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie, water)
• 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. both days
• Certification period: 3 years
• Location: Saint John’s University New Science Room 146 (campus map)
• Lodging Options (on your own)
  • We have reserved a block of 6 rooms through the St. John’s Abbey Guesthouse. These rooms will be available until 7/10/2026.
  • The cost is $85/night for a single room, or $120/night for a two-person room.
  • When booking your stay at the Guesthouse, please add the note “Attention Cyril, Outdoor U” so they know which group you are a part of.
