Team Building

A group of people in casual attire are playing a variation of tug-of-war while seated on the grass in a park. They pull on a circular rope with an orange cone in the center. A white tent and more people in the background are visible.
Three people are standing outdoors on a snowy surface, participating in a team-building activity. They are all on a pair of connected wooden skis, holding onto ropes for balance. The individuals are dressed in winter clothing, including jackets, gloves, and hats. Trees and buildings are visible in the background.
A group of people, mostly women, are kneeling and standing in a circle, interacting and working together on an activity indoors. They are wearing colorful headbands and appear to be engaged in a team-building exercise. A display case with trophies is visible in the background.

Team building programs are custom-designed to meet your group’s goals using initiatives, games, and activities to foster intrapersonal and interpersonal growth within your group. Participants are encouraged to engage with perceived risk positively, gain self-confidence, and develop skills in problem-solving, conflict resolution, trustworthiness, and/or communication while having fun and getting to know each other.

Participants

The number of trained staff on site will depend on the time of year (no trained student leads in summer, and limited professional staff on site). Please keep this in mind with your group requests, or reach out to the Outdoor Education Program Manager to discuss ideas on how to accommodate your group.

Facilitators

During a team building program, the facilitator(s) create and maintain a safe, supportive environment. Facilitators choose activities based on group goals and needs, which enables groups and participants to reflect on how they interact during programming.

Cost

Team-building programming is a free service for the CSB+SJU students, staff, and faculty.
Please contact us for pricing information regarding outside groups.
