The Saint John’s Bible shines nationally on NBC

December 20, 2024 • 1 min read

The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Program again gained the national spotlight when it was featured in a segment on NBC’s Today Show on Monday (Dec. 23).

The story by reporter Anne Thompson explained what The Saint John’s Bible is, why it came to be, and highlighted the presentation of an Apostles Edition of the Bible to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York last September.

That edition is the seventh of only 12 in existence. The Cathedral joined the Library of Congress, the Vatican Museum of Art, Lambeth Palace Library in England and other locations that have become permanent homes.

The Today Show story featured comments from Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of New York, as well as the Reverend Dr. John F. Ross, Executive Director of The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Program.
