For the second consecutive year, the College of Saint Benedict dance team brought home seventh place finishes in its division in both the pom and jazz competitions at the Universal Dance Association’s College National Championship held this past weekend at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The team competed in the semifinals in both jazz and pom on Saturday (Jan. 13), then advanced to the finals Sunday (Jan. 14).

“We are so grateful for this team and the work they’ve put in this season,” read a post on the team’s Instagram account. “To our parents, families, choreographers and alumnae – thank you for your constant love and support!”

The University of Minnesota dance team competed in the Division 1A competition, winning the pom national title and turning in a performance in preliminaries in the jazz competition that has become a viral sensation.
