Scholarships for Transfer Students

This symbol means additional steps are required to be considered for the scholarship. For all other CSB+SJU scholarships listed, students will automatically be considered for the award upon applying for admission.

Academic Achievement Scholarships

Offered to students based on academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership and service.

Alum Referral Scholarships

Students who are referred to CSB+SJU by an alum by January 15 of their senior year, are eligible for an additional $1,000 per year scholarship. Alums should use our online referral form to submit names.

Legacy Scholarship

Offered to students with a parent or grandparent who has graduated from CSB+SJU,  or with a sibling who is a current or former CSB+SJU student.

Art, Music and Theater Scholarships

Students who have participated in and excelled in art, music or theater are encouraged to apply. A major in art, music or theater is not necessary, but continued participation in college is required.

Benedictine Scholarships

Students from low-income families who have completed a college access program or students from urban high schools without a college access program. Must demonstrate financial need.

Out-of-state Scholarships

Scholarship is awarded to recognize academics, leadership and service and to acknowledge the additional expense of traveling out-of-state to college and loss of in-state grant assistance. Must demonstrate financial need.

Army ROTC & ROTC Nursing Scholarships

Students interested in joining ROTC who have demonstrated high achievement, have broad interests and a willingness to take on challenges are encouraged to apply.

Yellow Ribbon Program

Veteran’s benefit to help pay for college.

BONUS: A music immersion experience

Students with a passion for music are invited to participate in an immersive music experience after our Accepted Student Days! Bring your instrument or your voice to participate in an ensemble rehearsal, private music lesson or sample class. Future music majors, minors and non-majors are all invited to attend!

This experience will start at 1:20 p.m. in SJU's SBH (Auditorium Building). Please RSVP for one of these dates:
