Accreditation

Accreditation is the recognition that an institution or program maintains a set of educational and operating standards, regularly evaluates how those standards are met in comparison with its peers, and publicly announces findings in achievements and improvements. The College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University have been recognized by numerous national accreditation organizations for meeting exceptional levels of quality. These include the Higher Learning Commission, the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Chemical Society, the Association of Theological Schools, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation, and the National Association of Schools of Music.
