Renae Bartusch, a political science major from Eagan, Minn., interned with Americans for Tax Reform

Kylie Huether, a political science major from Sioux Falls, S.D., interned with the office of Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.)

Megan Hughes, a political science and peace studies double major from Faribault, Minn., interned with Guatemala Human Rights Commission, a nonprofit, nonpartisan, humanitarian organization that monitors, documents and reports on the human rights situation in Guatemala

Lindsey Krause, a political science major from Chanhassen, Minn., interned with the office of Sen. Amy Klobuchar

Melanie Miesen, a political science major from Springfield, Minn., interned with the office of Rep. Tim Walz (D-Minn.)

Abby Richardson, a political science major from Storm Lake, Iowa, interned with the office of Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa)

Jennifer Schope, a gender studies and political science major from Green Isle, Minn., interned at the offices of the American Association of University Women, an organization that focuses on advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research

Mai Xiong, a political science major from Oakdale, Minn., interned with the office of Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.).

George Ashenmacher, a political science major from Knife River, Minn., interned with the Department of Justice.

Colin Frederick, a political science and communications major from Arima, Trinidad, interned with the Council on Hemispheric Affairs (COHA), an independent research and information organization which focuses on Latin America

Michael Mollner, a political science major from Burnsville, Minn., interned at the office of David Turch & Associates, a government relations firm which provides strategic planning, legislative goal setting and political analysis

Nick Peters, a political science major from St. Cloud, Minn., is interning with Common Cause, a nonpartisan, nonprofit advocacy organization.
