Nord Mallard is presently working for The Vogel Group, a lobbying/advising firm in D.C.

She previously worked as Director of Federal Government Affairs at Mayo Clinic. She developed and executed Washington DC policy and political strategy for issues focusing on inpatient and outpatient hospital and physician payments, research funding, teaching hospital reimbursements, and system delivery reforms and innovations. She represented Mayo's academic, educational, and group practice divisions and departments as well as its fully owned subsidiaries (medical college, insurance company, clinical lab, and medical devices and pharmaceutical patents) in actively pursuing legislative and regulatory success and responding to congressional and administrative requests. Nord Mallard also led and coordinated public and formal reactions to legislative, regulatory, and administrative activities.
