Biography

Matt Kiminski is an arts administrator, collaborative musician, music educator, and arts advocate in Central Minnesota. He currently serves as the Music Department Coordinator at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, where he supports the department’s academic, performance, and outreach initiatives.

An active member of the Minnesota choral community, Matt is involved with the American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota and the Minnesota Music Educators Association, and serves as co-chair for the ACDA-MN 7/8 CTB Honor Choir. He also works as a collaborative pianist and vocalist, performing with the Great River Chorale and accompanying local choirs across the region.

Before his current role, Matt taught K–12 music and choir and previously worked with the St. John’s Boys’ Choir, leading outreach and marketing efforts while conducting the Training Choir. He earned his degree in Music Education from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Choral Music Education at the University of St. Thomas.
