Biography

Jake Meyer is the principal clarinetist of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra and the Northern Lights Music Festival. He regularly appears as a soloist and chamber musician in concerts across the Twin Cities, and he was a featured soloist with the St. Olaf Orchestra on multiple occasions after winning its Tour Soloist and Senior Soloist competitions. As an educator, Jake maintains a large private studio, serves as a clinician for local band programs, and has written a guide on musician health and wellness. He holds degrees from St. Olaf College and Florida State University.
