I’m originally from Omaha, Nebraska though I spent part of my childhood in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Dakota Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in counseling & psychology from University of South Dakota. I returned to my alma mater to work until 2014 when I moved to Minnesota. Since joining the CSB/SJU community I have enjoyed working with dedicated faculty and staff and serving the bright and talented students on our campuses. You will see me all over campus, at fine art events, cheering on our athletic teams, or grabbing lunch at McGlynn’s. Please feel free to stop by and chat, vent, or just hang out. Our team of student mentors and advocates are here to welcome you to our space and our campus community.

Sydney E. Robinson ’19

Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager, Multicultural Center; Advisor, Advocates for Inclusive Mentoring

I was born and raised in sunny Las Vegas before adventuring to Minnesota for my undergraduate. I graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in 2019 and majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Higher Education Administration at Saint Cloud State University. During my time at CSB, notably I was Vice President of the Student Senate, an Orientation Coordinator, RHA Hall Director, the Director of AIM, as well as having my creative works selected for our campus’s literary publication Studio One. I am passionate about working with underserved communities, talking about colorism and texturism, and intersectional identity development. In my free time you can find me watching comic books movies, talking about zodiac signs, writing poetry, or at our various dining centers looking for chicken soup. I encourage you all to stop by our offices, meet our team, and exist.
