Racism, Bias, & Belonging Panel Discussion

Recent events on our campus and beyond have raised difficult questions about racism, bias, belonging, and the harm these experiences can cause. This panel brings together faculty and staff from various departments to help our community understand, process, and respond to these issues from multiple perspectives. Panelists will explore how racism operates through assumptions, stereotypes, and harmful behaviors, and how these experiences can cause individual and collective trauma. They will also discuss how communities can recognize and interrupt racism while supporting healing and accountability.
