Research Interests:

Trained as an algebraic geometer, though my interests now are more focused on improving my teaching through the scholarship of teaching and learning, diversity, inclusivity, and justice in mathematics. I also enjoy topics related to combinatorial game theory and coding theory.

Teaching Interests:

In my teaching I employ evidenced-based teaching such as Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) and Mastery Grading (MG).

Courses Taught:

Introduction to statistics with a justice theme, foundations of mathematics (intro to proofs), analysis, algebraic structures, and linear algebra.
