The Center for Global Education (CGE) at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University extends a warm welcome to all incoming and returning students. We are glad you are part of our community, and we look forward to helping you on your journey to live courageously, embrace difference, and engage globally.
How to Explore Study Abroad Options
There are several ways students can connect with CGE to explore their study abroad options! Be sure to:
- Check out our program offerings on the Global Portal.
- Attend the Study Abroad Fair on Wednesday, September 24th. It will be held from 1-4 p.m. in Upper Gorecki, CSB.
- Schedule a one-on-one appointment with a Study Abroad Mentor or a member of CGE staff. Appointments can be scheduled through the Hive.
When to Apply to Study Abroad
Students who are hoping to study abroad on a short-term program in spring 2026 can apply starting on September 1! The application for the following programs will be open until noon on Tuesday, October 21, 2025:

Students seeking to study abroad on a semester program will have the opportunity to apply to our fall 2026 and spring 2027 semester programs starting on November 1, 2025. The most common year for students to study abroad on a semester program is junior year, but semester programs are open to sophomore and seniors, too!
