Research

My research explores issues of social justice, equity, and diversity in schools. I am co-author of two books, including Light through a Prism: Social Justice Teaching for Refugee and Displaced Students (2024), and Supporting Muslim Students: A Guide to Understanding the Diverse Issues of Today’s Classrooms (2017). I co-edited the book Invested Stayers: How Teachers Thrive in Challenging Times (2020) and published in journals such as English Education, Literacy Research and Instruction, Multicultural Perspectives, and Teaching and Teacher Education.
