Commencement Parking at CSB

Parking lots on campus will be open to commencement guests and visitors.

• Shuttles will be available to transport guests to the Haehn Campus Center from 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Handicap parking is available in Lots 8 and 10.
• Mobility impaired guests may be dropped off in the bus loop located in front of the Haehn Campus Center.
• Trailer parking is available in Lot 18 (the Athletic Field Parking Lot).

Please refrain from parking in roadways, fire lanes, extended rows and parking on the grass and walkways.

Commencement Parking at SJU

Parking lots on campus will be open to commencement guests and visitors.

• Shuttles will be available to transport guests to the Abbey and University Church from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• Handicap parking is available in Lot P9 east of the Abbey and University Church.

Please refrain from parking in roadways, fire lanes, extended rows and parking on the grass and walkways.

Are their extra tickets available for the CSB or SJU Commencement ceremonies?

Admission to the ceremonies is by electronic ticket only. The number of guest tickets allocated to each graduate is based on the number of graduates and the seating capacity of the venue. There are no extra tickets available. The ceremony can also be viewed in the Escher Auditorium at CSB for the CSB ceremony and the Stephen B. Humphrey Auditorium at SJU for the SJU Ceremony (no ticket required).

When and where is the 2025 CSB Commencement ceremony?

The CSB Commencement will take place the morning of Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Haehn Campus Center, Clemens Field House. More details to come.

When and where is the 2025 SJU Commencement ceremony?

The SJU Commencement will take place the afternoon of Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Abbey and University Church. More details to come.

I don’t have a ticket for the ceremony where can I view the ceremony on campus?

The CSB ceremony livestream can be viewed in Escher Auditorium in the Benedicta Arts Center (no ticket required). Doors open at 10 am. The SJU ceremony livestream can be viewed in the Stephen B Humphrey Auditorium (no ticket required). Doors will open at 2 pm.   

Both of these locations offer comfortable seating and access to walk around during the ceremony.

How long are the CSB ceremony and SJU ceremony?

Both the CSB and SJU Commencement ceremonies are expected to last approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.  

Will there be baccalaureate masses?

Yes, there will be a joint Baccalaureate Mass the evening of Friday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the Abbey and University Church.

When will graduates receive details about the ceremonies and information to share with their guests?

Information regarding details about the ceremonies will be sent to the graduates the last week of February 2025. Please watch your CSBSJU email for more information.

How does a graduate get their regalia if they cannot attend Grad Finale?

CSB grads can pick up their regalia at the CSB Bookstore only any time after March 27 during bookstore hours. SJU grads can pick up their regalia at the SJU Bookstore only any time after March 26 during bookstore hours.

Where do graduates pick up their honor cords?

If you are eligible for a GPA honor cord, they will be available for pick up at Grad Finale. If you are unable to attend Grad Finale, you may pick them up in the Registrar’s office (SJU) during office hours.
