The images that follow were obtained using CCD imaging technology available at the Saint Johns Observatory. If you have thought that astronomy is just “stargazing”, these images demonstrate that there is a lot more out there than just stars!
M20. The “Trifid Nebula”.
NGC891. A distant galaxy in Andromeda.
