About
A stylized illustration of a black bird, likely a loon, with a red eye and a white beak. The bird's feathers are depicted with white and black checkered patterns on its back and white streaks on its neck. The background is a solid brown color.

The Minnesota Master Naturalist program is an educational volunteer program for adults akin to the Master Gardener program and is geared toward adults who are curious and enjoy learning about the natural world, sharing their knowledge with others, and supporting conservation.

Volunteers complete a 40-hour course studying natural history, environmental interpretation, and conservation stewardship, as well as a final capstone project.
