- Concert: Thursday, October 4th, 2007, 7:30 p.m. at the Petters Auditorium, Dvorak's New World Symphony and Haydn Cello Concerto in C Major featuring Lucia Magney.

- Ken Freed, Minnesota Orchestra violinist, will be Guest Conductor and hold a MasterClass September 23rd, 2007.
- Sarah Hatsuko Hicks, Minnesota Orchestra Assistant Conductor, will be Guest Conductor and hold a MasterClass on March 2nd, 2008.
CSB/SJU Orchestra, J. David Arnott, Music Director
- The CSB/SJU Symphony performs in Petters Auditorium in The Benedicta Arts Center
- We perform a variety of music from the Classical era through the 21st century, frequently featuring soloists and guest artists
- The Symphony usually performs four orchestra concerts each year and provides music for opera workshop and Lessons and Carols
- The CSB/SJU Symphony is currently planning to tour in the spring of 2009.
- The Orchestra rehearses every other day and schedules full dress rehearsals in the evening prior to each concert
- This ensemble offers practical pedagogical experience for both the music major and non-major
- Orchestra may be taken for 0-1 credits
