A diverse group of eight people stand in front of a colorful stained glass window, each holding up a large, brightly colored letter that together spell "COMMUNITY." They appear cheerful and unified, celebrating togetherness.

The Alumni Council exists to:

  • Foster further relationships between alumnae and alumni and current faculty, staff, and students
  • Give intentional space for the energy of the alumnae/i to share their stories, experiences, and the fruits of education, formation, and prayer at the School of Theology and Seminary in their communities
  • Provide opportunities for alumnae/i to engage in meaningful prayer, formation, education, and community events with other alumni after graduation – to bring Collegeville with them
  • Gain commitment of alumnae/i to recognize their important involvement in the areas of recruitment and financial giving to help further the mission of the School of Theology and Seminary

Eight alumnae and alumni currently volunteer their time on the Alumni Council. The Council is led by Co-Chairs and six Members, who help sustain the Council and promote or serve at various alumnae/i-oriented events. We encourage SOT/Sem alums to volunteer for this group to ensure continued connection between the school and our graduates.

Co-Chair

Our Council serves alumni by helping them stay connected to the heart of the School of Theology and Seminary. We aim to be a source of connection, formation, and encouragement—creating space for graduates to share their stories, deepen their faith, and remain rooted in the Catholic and Benedictine values that shaped their journey. We also invite alumni to play an active role in recruitment, mentorship, and giving – helping to ensure the vitality of our mission for generations to come. Whether near or far, we’re here to walk with you. Together, we carry the mission forward, wherever we are called.

Opportunities to Connect

The Alumni Council hosts the Prayer and Convivium at the annual Ministry for Today Summit (SOT/Sem Reunion) each summer and plans alumnae/i-centered events throughout the year to coincide with other campus happenings such as homecoming and graduation. The Council hopes many alumnae/i are able to attend these events, so they can connect, learn more about the needs of our alumnae/i, and generate new ideas and feedback.
