Elizabeth Botz

Academics

April 9, 2021

As a psychology major and communication minor, Elizabeth Botz has spent her time at Saint Ben’s metaphorically developing her voice to speak up and reach those in need of help. But she’s also spent this time developing her voice literally – in voice lessons, opera, musical theater and improv comedy. “Our institution is better for her presence here, and I am thrilled and honored to have her in my voice studio,” said Professor Carolyn Finley, her voice coach for the last two years. Botz is a dedicated volunteer in her church and with the Red Cross. And her adaptability and attention to detail have helped her battle dyslexia to achieve impressive academic successes (while becoming a pretty coveted study-group leader in the process).
