A stipend of $1,200 is paid to the resident in two installments during the residency. No additional financial aid is available.
Artists may use the time for work on a specific project or as generative time for deep reflection and experimentation in relation to the environment of CSBSJU and to their own artistic practice.
Public Artist Talk, a one-time critique/studio visit with the senior art majors, and an Open Studio Reception at the completion of the residency.
The Artist must provide their own working supplies. We provide access to studios and equipment, such as darkrooms, print, clay, video production etc.
Absences from the program are discouraged and must be discussed ahead of time with the program director.
