The relation of Christian ethics and economic life.
Courses focus on the history of Christian views of economic life, competing views of justice in the 21 ^st century, and the relation of economics and philosophy.
Current research in process: an edited volume on the contributions of the social sciences to the Catholic notion of the common good, a primer on critical realism for Christian ethics, and a book on economic complicity in a global economy

Daniel K. Finn is Professor of Theology and Clemens Professor of Economics at St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minnesota. He is a former president of the Catholic Theological Society of America, the Society of Christian Ethics, and the Association for Social Economics. He led a successful affordable housing campaign among five cities in central Minnesota and has lectured widely in Latin America, Europe, and Asia.
