What is special about the SOT/Sem?
What makes the SOT/Sem truly special is how its mission comes to life through the work of its alumnae and alumni. In my role, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing graduates and learning how they are using their theological education to touch the lives of others. Their ministries are as diverse as they are inspiring—ranging from missionary work and courtroom advocacy to liturgical leadership and executive leadership. Across all these paths, SOT/Sem alumnae and alumni embody the hands and heart of Christ, making a profound difference in their communities and beyond.
What is your favorite place on campus?
One of my favorite places on campus is Lake Sagatagan. There’s a peaceful spot just across from Emmaus Hall, where benches overlook the water—perfect for a quiet moment or a picnic. Sitting in the shade of the tall trees, feeling the breeze drift off the lake, is incredibly calming. Being able to enjoy lunch by such a beautiful lakeside during the workday is a great perk!
