When to visit
If possible, the best day to come is a Thursday while classes are in session. On these days, prospective students will be able not only to observe classes, but they will able to participate in our weekly Convivium celebration, which involves a student-planned midday prayer based on the Liturgy of the Hours and a community meal cooked by a team of students, faculty, or staff members.
What to do while here
Each campus visit is unique, varying based on the interests and time of the visitor. We recommend that prospective students allow time to observe a class (see Course Offerings for the current schedule of classes) and to explore the many other resources available on campus, such as the Hill Museum and Manuscript Library (including The Saint John's Bible), the Alcuin Library, Saint John's Abbey and the Abbey Church, the Collegeville Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research, the Spirituality Center at the nearby College of Saint Benedict's, the Episcopal House of Prayer, and more.
