Podvin '71 Retires after 41 Years Fighting Poverty
March 14, 2014
Rick Podvin will retire this month after 41 years advocating for people in poverty. From residential treatment for youth to transitional housing for women with children, Podvin has dedicated his career to helping people help themselves.
"The reason I've been able to do this for all these years is I've seen success," Podvin said. "I've seen people reclaim their lives for themselves, their children ... I'm going to miss being that small part of people's struggle, and most often, success."
