Study Abroad 101 Sessions

This session is perfect as you begin your study abroad search. Not sure if studying abroad will work for you? Which program will fit best with your academic program? All students are encouraged to attend a Study Abroad 101 advising session as they begin to explore the international education opportunities at CSB/SJU. It will include an overview of the study abroad options available to CSB/SJU students, the study abroad process, and how to work it into your academic plan.

Study Abroad 201 Sessions

As you are preparing to apply for study abroad, attend a Study Abroad 201 session to help you succeed.

At Study Abroad 201 sessions, advisors will walk you through the entire study abroad application and interview process. Attendance at a Study Abroad 101 prior to 201 is strongly encouraged. Applications for the 2014-2015 semester study abroad programs become available Friday, November 1st and are due Tuesday, January 24th at noon.

After attending a Study Abroad 101/201 advising session, you can schedule an individual appointment with an Education Abroad Advisor. Remember that the more prepared you are for your international experience, the better your results may be.

  • Make an appointment with Joy Ruis, Education Abroad Advisor, for specific questions or concerns about: Australia, China, India, Ireland (Galway, Cork or Northern), Japan, London (fall & spring), Spain, Coventry (England), and External Study Abroad Programs.
  • Make an appointment with Nicole Clements, Education Abroad Advisor, for specific questions or concerns about: Austria, Chile, France, Greco-Roman/Roman-Greco, Guatemala, Eichstatt (Germany), South Africa, and Spain.
  • Make an appointment with Peggy Retka, Director of Education Abroad, for specific questions or concerns about Short-Term Programs.
