Brigid Mark

Brigid Mark has conducted research the last two summers. In 2017, she was a fellow for tree ring researcher Troy Knight, associate professor of environmental studies at CSB/SJU. In 2018, she participated in a Research Experience for Undergraduates with Team Echinacea, which studies how best to conserve and restore the tallgrass prairie. Mark has served as president of the Climate Action Club at CSB/SJU, focusing the club on social justice issues, keeping fossil fuels in the ground and increasing diversity in the climate movement. She attended the United Nations Climate Conference in fall 2017 in Bonn, Germany, and completed a research paper about her experience.
