Associate Professor of Peace Studies Jeffrey Anderson, who is Olivia Engling’s adviser, noted that, “Olivia’s academic record and list of service activities confirm that she is engaged in a serious lifelong quest for knowledge.” It’s an impressive list. She is in the CSB/SJU Honors program and has maintained a 4.0 GPA in her dual majors of peace studies and psychology. She is a Bonner Leader and has been a Jackson Fellow. She is a member of Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology. She has served multiple years on the Saint Ben’s Senate. She has shown a consistent passion for service, working with Community Kitchen, volunteering as an Upward Bound tutor and seeking out experiential opportunities that center on service and cultivate engagement. She was recently named a Newman Civic Fellow for the 2020-21 academic year.
