Jena Schroepfer

Jena Schroepfer is an outstanding student. She has maintained an outstanding GPA while participating in the Honors program, pursuing a theology major and German minor. She demonstrates a strong work ethic in her student employment serving the Peace Studies, Sociology and Political Science departments. And she has shown a strong commitment to service in mission trips to Guatemala and Red Lake, Minnesota – with plans and goals for continuing to serve. What makes her perfectly suited for Delta Epsilon Sigma though is the way she has grown to “personify critical principles of Catholic Social Teaching,” as Shawn Colberg, associate professor of theology at CSB/SJU, put it. Her student-work supervisor, Sheila Hellermann, noted that, “The Catholic Church needs strong women voices like Jena’s.”
