Emmalyn Boeser

Emmalyn Boeser is committed not just to becoming the best nurse she can be, but she is interested in continuing her education to become an educator for future nurses. She has been a teaching assistant for the nursing program, eventually rising to become the lead teaching assistant. She has actively sought out developmental opportunities like the Fairview Summer Nurse Intern program (in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at M Health Fairview St. John’s Hospital) and a cultural immersion experience providing health education in St. Lucia, South Africa. She is certified as a personal care assistant and a certified nursing assistant, as well as in neonatal resuscitation. She has also served as an ICAN national diabetes prevention coach.
