Brynn Murray

Annette Atkins, professor emerita of history at CSB/SJU, described Brynn Murray’s “curiosity, openness, appreciation for differences, willingness to see the world differently.” Dana Drazenovich, an instructor in the Communication Department where Murray is majoring, described her as “empathetic and reflective, applying her personal knowledge and understanding beyond her own life.” In her major, Murray has had the chance to refine and to share these traits, notably sharing them as a peer tutor in the Writing Center. She created and led an independent bloggers’ club while studying abroad and she maintains a travel blog of her own. Murray was one of the college’s first members of the National Society of Leadership and Success and she energetically commits her time to service projects.
