Finding God in Everyday Life

Dr. Mary Reuter, OSB

Where is God? Might God be found in the events of our lives? Explore ways God can be revealed in daily life -- family, friends, scripture, crisis, grandeur. With the help of Saint Benedict of Nursia and his guide written in the 5th century, reflect on possible responses when we recognize God dwelling among us.

Crooks, Ciphers, and Champions: Evaluating 20th Century Presidents Dr. Ken Jones This class offers a conversation about presidents from Teddy Roosevelt through Bill Clinton. We will share views, clarify criteria and learn some new information that may challenge -- or confirm -- our original assessments.

The College of Saint Benedict for women and Saint John's University for men are partners in liberal arts education, providing students the opportunity to benefit from the distinctions of not one, but two nationally recognized Catholic, Benedictine, residential undergraduate colleges. Together, the colleges challenge students to live balanced lives of learning, work, leadership and service in a coeducational environment.
