Theater department presents ‘A Christmas House’

The College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University theater department will present "A Christmas House" Thursday, Nov. 10 to Sunday, Nov. 13 and Thursday, Nov. 17 to Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Gorecki Family Theater in the Benedicta Arts Center of the College of Saint Benedict. Performances times are 7 p.m. on Nov. 10, 11, 17 and 18 and 2 p.m. on Nov. 12, 13 and 19.  

Written by Kaarin Johnston, professor of theater at CSB and SJU, "A Christmas House" seems like a regular Christmas season for a typical American family, with its mix of charity and selfishness. All that changes when some of the world's traditional Christmas characters unexpectedly show up and teach them all about the true meaning of Christmas.
