Announcing the 2020 CSB/SJU Benedictine Day of Service
The Benedictine values that embraced you during your years on campus haven’t just stayed on campus. They have become part of the way you believe, think and act. The values of community and hospitality were part of the way you interacted with your friends, joined organizations and took on roles you never thought possible. On the 2020 Benedictine Day of Service, we encourage you to put those values into action.
This year, the CSB Alumnae Board, SJU Alumni Board and the Young Alum Committee are working together to offer you simple and fun chances to do just that. Mark your calendar for April 25, 2020* and make plans now to gather your classmates and lend your energy to the effort as we pool the power of Bennies and Johnnies around the world into a focused force for good – wherever we are.
In the coming weeks, you’ll be receiving information on how you can organize a service project for a group of Bennies and Johnnies or just gather your classmates and participate as a group in a project someone else has organized. Either way, this opportunity is an easy way to gather your classmates and do something fun AND meaningful. So stay tuned for more information and contact [email protected] for more information.
